West Ham United 1-4 Manchester City (PL Review)

The Champions of the Premier League Manchester City played against West Ham United at the London stadium Sunday. Many predicted this to an easy fixture for Manchester City against David Moyes’s men and that’s what happened.City dominated the game winning by a huge margin of 4-1.

The Citizens were in full control of the game right from the start to the final whistle. Leroy Sané opened the scoring for City. Constant pressure and domination resulted in an own goal by a former Manchester player and legend, Pablo Zabaleta . This was the 100th goal for City in the 2017-18 campaign of the Premier League as they look destined to break the 103 goal record set by Chelsea in the 2009/10 season under Carlo Ancelotti.. West Ham got a goal back in the dying minutes of the first half, courtesy of Aaron Cresswell.
The Hammers produced a dogged performance in the first half, and the fans geared up for a competitive second half.
But, it didn’t turned out that way as City dominated the entire second half. Gabriel Jesus and Fernandinho scored City’s third and fourth goals respectively. The match ended with City creating about 19 chances and having enjoyed 77% of possession throughout the game.

Entire City team was very consistant and played exceptionally well in all the three departments. Raheem Sterling had a brilliant game tonight as he provided a hattrick of assists. His decision making and consistency has went up a notch under the guidance of Pep Guardiola.

It was a pure display of dominance from Guardiola’s men as they showed that they are the Champions of the Premier League for a reason. This was Manchester City’s 30th win in the Premier League this campaign.
The Citizens now look forward to play against Huddersfield Town on 6th of May at the Etihad Stadium
